Today, you will discover typical villages of the Drôme Provençale: La Garde-Adhémar, Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux and Suze-la-Rousse. La Garde-Adhémar has preserved elements from its medieval history with traces of the castle and old houses.
Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux, is a charming village with many vestiges of its ancient ramparts still standing. The last leg of today’s journey will take you to Suze-la-Rousse, where you can visit its magnificent castle, which is still in a condition close to the orginal. The name of the village was inspired by the flaming red-haired lady of the castle.

PRESTIGE ACCOMODATION VERSION: ~45km stage from Grignan to Uchaux.
After breakfast, you will embark on today’s adventure. You will pedal to the historic village of Visan, then on to Vinsobres. Today your senses will come alive, especially when you bike through the lavender fields, vineyards and olive groves. Why not make a detour to Richerenches, where a truffle market is held every Saturday. At the end of the day, you will arrive in Nyons, renowned for its protected designation olive oil. Overnight in a hotel.
PRESTIGE ACCOMODATION VERSION: ~42km stage from Uchaux to Nyons.
Today you will cross the Gorges de l’Eygues, a mountainous region, before cycling through Concordet and La Paillette. Finally, you will reach the pretty village of Dieulefit. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will set off for Grignan passing through through the wonderfully restored villages of the Knights Templar. Pause at the summit of the Montagne de la Série, from where you will have a breathtaking view over the region. Arrive in Grigan in the afternoon, and take time to explore the town and Madame de Sévigné’s château. Overnight at the hotel.
Departure after breakfast or opt for an additional night to enjoy the local gastronomy and experience the gentle charm of Provence.
